Isolan belongs to the T15B Isola Longa line that originates in the main stud Trakehnen. The foundation mare was Isola Longa by Thyrann.
She had several progeny, the most important are:
1) the approved Indigo II
2) the mare Iskia (by Maigraf xx), dam of:
1) the approved Index, who sired the very important Patras, and the approved Tannengrund and Ricardo. Patras was a grey Trakehner stallion of great quality. He had three approved sons in the Hanoverian breed (Pygmalion, Protepee and Passepartou) and is also the second dam sire of the 2000 champion King Arthur TSF. Ricadro was sold to the US where he sired numerous high stud book mares. Index himself also had two very important daughters with notable offspring. One was Panna III, her line goes through her daughter Paninka II, then Paprika to the 70 day test winner and top show jumper Pepper&Salt, who was approved in 2002 and won his dressage index and jumping index. The other Index daughter was Herbstfee. Her daughter Helsinki (by Matador) produced the ATA approved Grand Prix stallion Hy Tec.
2) Isotop, approved stallion. He had several good daughters, among them Grazia. Her daughter Goldika by EH Marduc was one of the best younger event horses in Germany in the early 90s.
3) the mare Island, dam of the approved Isländer. He produced only little, but his daughter Rastenburg won the National Mare Champion title in Germany (all breeds) and produced the above mentioned Ricardo. Her daughter Rauhe (by Donauwind!) is dam of the two elite stallions and Grand Prix horses Ravel (by Mahagoni) and Rockefeller (by EH Consul).
4) her daughter Isola Madre (by Pythagoras) became dam of:
1) the impeccable foundation sire Ibikus (sire of such stallions as Wie Ibikus (Vatout, Kiebitz-EH Banditentraum, Ferrum-Lions Club, Santiago), Vincent, Valerian, Pernambuco, Elbiskus and dam sire of the stallions EH Gribaldi, EH Van Deyk, EH Sixtus etc)
2) the approved Indus (sold to Canada in the 70s)
3) the Grand Prix show jumper Infant (by Hessenstein)
4) the approved Intimus
5) the mare Irka II (by Cardinal xx), who produced only 1 foal: the 1985 NMS Champion EH Itaxerxes!!
6) the mare Indiana (by Kurfürst), dam of the approved Illuster. His daughter Corna was a Grand Prix dressage winner and produced the approved premium stallion Checkpiont. A full sister to Corna, Cornu, is the dam of Cornus.
7) the mare Instanz (by Etong), dam of the approved Iglesias (by EH Tenor)
Isolans grand dam Isola (by Schabernack) is also dam of the approved Impressionist (by Herzbube) and Isidor (by Tümmler), who is a really good event horse sire!
