Isolan, formerley of Maximillian and Downlands studs in the UK.
Isolan is from the Isola Longa family. His sire was Donauwind. Donauwind left for the USA and is better known as the sire of Abdullah; the legendary grey olympic show jumping stallion. |

Soundness and athletic paces enabled Downlands Isolan to combine a successful and busy career with his stud duties. He is now retired to stud. From a small number of variously bred mares he has sired international calibre offspring in eventing, show jumping, dressage and showing all with his stunning good looks.
Isolan is a highly rated dressage stallion with superb ability in BHS/HT and BSJA Show Jumping. |

| This amazing horse is from a filly out of the first foal crop of Isolan some 20 years ago. To produce so well so young. Suzette Berthold purchased Karisma as a two year old. She was transported to the US alongside her mother. Karisma is "a big girl at 17HH, and the very finest possible temperament. As sweet as a kitten, solid as a rock, and a big,big mover." Suzette Berthold says. |
