Three of Schwalbe’s daughters were to become influential through their stallion descendents (i) Schwardron mother of two stallions, (ii) Schone Schwalbe who’s daughter was the stallion mother Holme Grove Schlobitten and (iii) the Premium and Elite mare Schwarze Schwalbe mother of three stallions all full brothers to Impuls; Schwalbenzug, Schwalbenflug and Champion of the Grading in Neuminter 1975, Schwalbenfreund (foaled 1973). |

The Trakehners with the greatest influence in the forming of the modern riding horses were those used in Baden-urttemberg. The East Prussian stallion Julmond went to West Germany and is known as the ‘reformer of Wurttemberg Warmblood breeding’ became the regenerator and the founder of a new breeding era. His heritage, characterized by excellent inner qualities and exceptional riding qualities, is still felt today, no less than two decades after his death.
