MUSCHAMP KORSAKOF
PEDIGREE
Muschamp Korsakof has a very interesting pedigree. His sire Muschamp Danube was the foundation Trakehner Stallion in England, and made a significant contribution to Trakehner breeding. He produced three graded sons notably Fleetwater Opposition, winner of gold medals in eventing and as an advanced dressage stallion, plus numerous brood mares and competition stock.
Muschamp Korsakofs dam Koenigsberg II, was also very well bred. Her sire was the Grand Prix dressage stallion Mozart, who was exported to the U.S.A. and was known to produce top class stock. Muschamp Korsakofs correct structure was highly recommended by the grading judges. He shows totally straight movement and a beautiful cadence. His young stock are all like him in that they are alert, bold and have a grand temperament.
Muschamp Korsakof was first trained in eventing and competed successfully with New Zealand event rider Andrew Bennie. He then went on to compete in dressage and is now at PSG level. Muschamp Korsakof is brave, forward thinking, full of character and his many winnings are proof that his future as a breeding sire is backed up by his performance ability.
The Feedback the stud receives from owners of Muschamp Korsakof offspring is extremely positive. His young stock enjoy learning and their competition spirit is a tribute to the breed.
Trakehners are widely used in Europe to up-grade other breeds. Muschamp Korsakof, with his proven performance bloodlines, is ideal for breeding with the lighter type of mare or Thoroughbred, as well as the pure-bred Trakehner
* Breeding from proven bloodlines is the way to win.
